Shipping policy
At Chez Poirier, we take the same care in shipping your order as we do in preparing your meats. Every box is packed to order at our government inspected facility and shipped through Loomis Express in temperature-controlled packaging to guarantee quality upon arrival.
Shipping Areas
We currently ship throughout Quebec.
If you are located outside this province, please contact us before placing your order to confirm availability.
Shipping Schedule
Orders are shipped from our butcher shop Monday through Wednesday to avoid weekend delays.
Orders placed after Wednesday 12 PM (noon) will be shipped the following week.
We do not ship on statutory holidays.
Delivery Times
Most deliveries arrive within 1–2 business days from the shipping date.
Please note that transit delays due to weather or carrier issues are beyond our control, but we always work with Loomis Express to resolve any problem quickly.
Shipping Rates
Shipping costs are calculated automatically at checkout based on weight and destination.
We offer free delivery on orders of 300$ and plus — check our homepage for current promotions.
Order Tracking
Once your order leaves our facility, you will receive a Loomis Express tracking number by email so you can follow your package every step of the way.
Packaging & Temperature Control
Your order is carefully packed with insulated liners and ice packs that maintain optimal temperature for up to 48 hours.
Because our products are perishable, please make sure someone is available to receive the package on the delivery day.
Delivery Issues
If your package arrives damaged, delayed, or incomplete, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery and include photos of the packaging and contents.
Our team will review each situation to ensure you’re fully satisfied.
Unclaimed or Returned Packages
If a package is returned due to an incorrect address, delivery refusal, or absence at delivery, it cannot be reshipped.
Since our products are perishable, no refunds can be issued for unclaimed or returned items.
